Welcome to the official fanlisting for squints from FOX's hit TV series, Bones. TheFanlistings.org defines a fanlisting as "an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join." This fanlisting is for the characters from Bones known as squints. The term was first used on the show by Special Agent Seely Booth in the pilot episode:
Booth: He's got no sense of discretion, that kid. Typical squint.
Temperance: I don't know what that means.
Booth: When cops get stuck we bring in people like you, ya know? Squints. You know, squint at things.
Temperance: Oh you mean people with very high IQs and basic reasoning skills?
Dr. Temperance Brennan's team has since become known as the "Squint Squad", or simply "Squints". The team consists of Zach Addy, Dr. Brennan's assistant whose specialty appears to be insects and their effect on corpses, Dr. Jack Hodgins, an entomologist and expert on spores and minerals, Angela Montenegro, a free-spirited artist and the team's specialist in forensic facial reconstruction, as well as Dr. Brennan herself (although Zach and Hodgins typically accumulate the data). Bones Appreciation Book Update!

Please see the online journal set up for the bones project for all the details. A title contest is coming for the title of the book as well as a graphic contest for the cover of the book. Please don't doubt that your time is wasted we have already compiled many sources of getting this book to Hart Hanson.

I received an email today regarding an opportunity for fans to send their artwork, praise, and quotes to the cast and crew of Bones. Here is the email and instructions for sending your contribution:
Dear Fellow Bones Fans,
In accordance with this idea posted at the Fox.com Forum for Bones: http://forums.fox.com/foxbones/messages?msg=3691.10
A few of us have decided to head the idea up. We have decided to create an "Appreciation Book" for the cast and crew of Bones. It isn't for one specific actor/actress. It's for everyone involved that brings us fantastic entertainment every week. What we would like to do is piece together a book of all the fans words, artwork, and quotes; whatever you want to go in the book from you to the cast and crew. With in the pages of your contributions will be quotes about the business of entertainment, positive reviews from the media, and positive reviews from random fans.
We plan to send copies of the book to FOX and three other media outlets that we are in the process of contacting.
Here are specifications for everyone wanting to participate and a place to email your contribution:
8 1/2 by 11 paper size
Maximum 100 words
May contain artwork but words & art must be combined on same page
Only 1 contribution per person
Programs people can use: Adobe, Powerpoint, Word, Paint, PS Elements (If you have another program you need to use email us. We have to make sure we will be able to open your contribution to print it.)
